October Wrap Up

Hi Guys! October is over and we’re finally getting closer to my favorite time of the year! CHRISTMAS!

So, to finish the month properly here is my October wrap up. This month I read 5 books and 2 graphic novels. I’m honestly surprised I had time to read all these books because I’ve been so busy with school and work. I think I’m reaching that point in the semester where I’m like:

Anyway, let’s start!

Image result for sense and sensibility graphic novelSense and Sensibility (Graphic Novel) by Jane Austen and Nancy Butler. I’m a sucker for Jane Austen’s books, I LOVER her writing and humor! So, when I ran across this graphic novel at my local library of course I had to grab it. I read the original book a few years ago, so it was nice to remember the story in a different way.

wiresWires and nerve: Gone Rogue by Marissa Meyer. Like I said in my Trick or Treat book tag, It was wonderful seeing the whole cast together again.trophy

The Trophy Wives Club by Kristin Billerbeck. This was my least favorite book that I read this month. I had high expectations fro it but it ended up disappointing me.

northanger abbeyNorthanger Abbey by Jane Austen. I actually read this book for one of my classes, and let me tell you I enjoyed it more than if I had read it by myself like all the other Jane Austen books I’ve read. I feel like I got more out of the story and Austen’s sense of humor. anne

I’d Rather be Reading: The Delights and Dilemmas of the Reading life by Anne Bogel. Book review here.

Image result for a night dividedA Night Divided by Jennifer A. Nielsen. You guys this book had me at the edge of my seat the whole time, once I started it I COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN. It was so good! Book review to come!Image result for the heir and the spare

The Heir and the Spare by Emily Albright. I’m all about a good romance novel, but I felt like this one was a little bit too cheesy, you know? Like, the characters problems were not really problems at all. I wish I had those kinds of problems to be honest.

That’s it for me. What books did y’all read this month?

Thank you for reading!
