November Wrap up

Sorry guys I’ve been completely MIA, I had finals and projects due last week and I’ve been going crazy with stress. Yesterday I submitted my last essay and now I’m completely FREE! (at least until January that classes start again). Anyway, I’m here now and ready to share with you guys (although a little bit late) my November’s wrap up list!

Like I said I’ve been incredibly busy this month, so I only got a chance to read 2 books. However, in my defense one of the books was over 600 pages, so I think I should get a little bit of credit for that. Anyway, here is the list:

I read the first book over 2 years ago when it first came out, so, I’ll be honest, I couldn’t remember many things from the first book, and I feel like that kind of stopped me from having a connection with the characters. However, that didn’t stop me from enjoying the book. As I was reading it, I was genuinely curious to see where the story went and how Emika was going to stop Hideo from controlling the world. I was also very surprised with all the plot twists that the story had. All in all, it was a great book.

The magic was so interesting and not hard to understand like other high fantasy books; Sanderson does a wonderful job at introducing it slowly, so it’s not too overwhelming. Also, I LOVE heist movies/books, so the idea of a crew of thieves overthrowing the government as part of a heist was just genius for me. I also LOVED all the characters and their relationships, especially Vin and Sauzer’s relationship, as well as, Vin and Kelsier’s. Definitely would recommend it to others!

Well, that it for me! Have you read any of these books? What did you think of them?

This was a very short post, but I promise I have more material coming soon!

Thank you for reading!
