March Wrap up

Hey guys! As promised, here is my March’s wrap up! Even though I was pretty busy all month, I had a great reading month because I managed to read 4 great books!

Can you keep a secret? By Sophie Kinsella. I first read this book back in 2013, so this was a reread. Although I’m not gonna lie, I didn’t remember much from the story, so it was basically like reading it again from the first time. This was the first book I ever read by Sophie Kinsella and rereading this book made me remember why I started loving her books. Rating: 4.5 stars.

Circe by Madeline Miller. This book wasn’t what I was expecting, but in a good way. The story didn’t go the direction I was anticipating, but I was still pretty satisfied with it. The writing was so beautiful, I’m lowkey upset I got a kindle library copy and I’m not able to keep my highlights. Also, not gonna lie, I cried at the end it was very beautiful the way Miller decided to end the story. I definitely think this book is overhyped, but it’s still a good book. Rating 4 stars

Fight or Flight by Samantha Young. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this book, especially because I don’t normally like the friends with benefits troupe. Although, it is actually a combination of the enemies to lovers and the friends with benefits troupe, so I think that’s why I found this book very addictive. I really liked the main character’s relationship with her best friend, their friendship was very touching. Rating: 4 stars

Heroine Worship by Sarah Kuhn. This is the second book in the Heroine Complex series. I was very excited for this book since I really enjoyed the first one; unfortunately, the book didn’t live up to its expectations. The story was too absurd and normally I would laugh at it and roll with it, but this time it was too much for me. I will say that this book has a beautiful cover. Rating: 3 stars
